His mother said that he sang at three months old. His father, who was Cherokee, was his first teacher. He was a protégé of Nina Simone and traveled with her in the early 80's. He returned to California after living in Vienna for 25 years where he studied with numerous European vocal masters. He loves to sing and has spent his life teaching others to sing in his workshops "Sing Open Your Heart" and "Finding Your Authentic Voice." In Vienna, he also taught singing and breathing to the midwives and expectant mothers. He brings a new energy message of joyful passion and inspiration through his songs and his unique presence. His greatest joy is to have this opportunity with "America's Got Talent" and to have a new singing career in America.
