Holley Mangold from "Biggest Loser 2013" is one of the contestants in Season 15 of the NBC reality weight-loss competition series. She is an Olympic weightlifter and a caterer, currently living in Columbus, Ohio.

"The Biggest Loser"

Holley Mangold, a 2012 US Olympic team member for weightlifting who competed in the super heavyweight division, was always athletic despite being overweight. She was born in Kettering, Ohio and raised in Centerville, Ohio, with an older and younger sister and an older brother (New York Jets center Nick Mangold). Holley played high school football and was the first female offensive lineman to play in an Ohio Division III state championship high school football game. She later attended Ursuline College, where she studied theology and sociology. "I have always been big and succeeded while being big, so I thought that there was no reason to lose weight," Holley says, adding, "As long as I was doing the things I wanted to do, I thought I was fine."

She only began weightlifting in 2008, which makes it all the more impressive that she landed a coveted spot on the 2012 Olympic team for weightlifting. Now 24 years old, Holley weighs 351 pounds and decided to make a change so that she can get healthy and also compete to the best of her ability in the 2016 Olympics. She says, "I want to inspire people to love who they are, but to know that if they want to change something about themselves, they can." Once she loses the weight, Holley looks forward to winning a medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Holley Mangold is a weightlifter who competed at the 2012 London Summer Olympics for the USA. She entered the Olympic trials in March ranked No. 2 in the country behind fellow superheavyweight (75+kg/165+ Ibs) Sarah Robles and that is exactly how things stood at the end of the day. Robles and Mangold claimed the only two qualifying spots, with Robles lifting a total of 258kg and Mangold finishing with a total of 255kg.

Mangold's brother, Nick, is an all-pro NFL lineman who plays for the New York Jets. However, he is not the only one in the family with football experience. Mangold played football in high school, too. She played on the offensive line for a Catholic school team in Dayton, Ohio. Mangold was even recruited by some small colleges to play football, but she opted for a track and field scholarship at Ursuline College, an all-girls school near Cleveland, Ohio.

Mangold did not begin to lift heavily competitively until she was 18 years old, a good few years after most Olympic hopeful weightlifters start out. She was focused on football as well as track and field until 2010. After impressive showings as a part-time lifter, Mangold took-on the sport full-time with her eyes set on Rio 2016 but is now incredibly four years ahead of schedule.

Many top U.S. athletes, including lifters, take advantage of the opportunity to train at the Olympic National Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., but Mangold prefers to stay close to home in Columbus with her coach, Mark Cannella of the Columbus Weightlifting Club. Cannella said that over the past year, Mangold has improved her

In 2011, Mangold appeared on the MTV show, "True Life: I'm a Big Girl." The show chronicled her life as an Olympic hopeful. The show chronicled her life as a superheavyweight lifter, a life in which she still keeps in touch with her feminine side.

At Ursuline College, Mangold studied philosophy, theology and sociology.
