"Inside Comedy" Season 4 on Showtime is a comedy documentary series from comedy forces comedian David Steinberg ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") and Steve Carell. The episodes feature Steinberg interviewing some of the world's biggest comedians such as Chris Rock, Ellen DeGeneres and Jerry Seinfeld, to comedians of the past five decades such as Mel Brooks, Don Rickles and Jonathan Winters, as they share career-defining moments, personal struggles and the idols that inspired them, in an uncensored and hilarious one-on-one format.

In Season 1, the series commemorates the inspirations and influences of comedians over the last few decades by capturing never-before-heard anecdotes and intimate memories from pioneers Mel Brooks, Tim Conway, Carl Reiner, Don Rickles and Jonathan Winters; to Billy Crystal, Garry Shandling, Martin Short, Robin Williams and Steven Wright; to Larry David, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld; to Ellen DeGeneres, Brad Garrett, Kathy Griffin, Jane Lynch, Sarah Silverman and Carell.

The Season 2 lineup includes Drew Carey, Robert Klein, Steve Martin, Martin Mull, Robert Schimmel, Judd Apatow, Carol Burnett, Jim Carrey, Louis C.K., Susie Essman, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Bill Maher, Mike Myers, Bob Newhart, Ben Stiller, Lily Tomlin, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Betty White, among others.

The Season 3 lineup includes Jimmy Fallon, Zach Galifianakis, Jonah Hill, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bette Midler, Alan Arkin, Dick Van Dyke, Richard Belzer and more.

The Season 4 lineup includes some of the buzziest names in entertainment, including Dan Aykroyd, Stephen Colbert, Dane Cook, Bryan Cranston, Ted Danson, Michael Keaton, Carol Leifer, Jon Stewart, Wanda Sykes, Conan O'Brien, Cheech & Chong, and Jeffrey Tambor.

Carell and Steinberg serve as executive producers alongside Vance DeGeneres and Charlie Hartsock for Carousel Productions, with Alan Zweibel serving as creative consultant. Steinberg directs.
