Jane Lynch stars in "Glee" on FOX as Sue Sylvester. Lynch also appears in the movie "Paul," starring Nick Frost and Simon Pegg, as Pat Stevens, and provides the voice for Alice in the animated film "Rio," alongside Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg, Jemaine Clement, Leslie Mann, Tracy Morgan, will.i.am and Rodrigo Santoro.

Lynch previously starred in Starz Entertaiment's comedy "Party Down," as Constance Carmell, voiced the character of Gretched in "Shrek Forever After," and played Joyce Wischnia

She has also starred in Christopher Guest's "For Your Consideration," "A Mighty Wind" and "Best in Show," as well as "The Rocker," the animated film "Space Chimps," "Alvin and the Chipmunks," "Walk Hard," "Talladega Nights," "The 40 Year Old Virgin," Margaret Cho's "Celeste and Bam Bam," Alan Cumming's "Suffering Man's Charity," "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events," "Sleepover" and "Surviving Eden."

Recent television credits include the Lifetime original series "Love Spring," "Desperate Housewives" and Showtime's hit series "Weeds." She has had recurring roles on "Boston Legal," "Two and a Half Men," "Criminal Minds" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine."

Lynch's play "Oh Sister, My Sister!" has had runs at the Tamarind Theatre and the Bang Theater. It has also garnered the LA Weekly Comedy Ensemble of the Year Award.
