Jason Earles stars in "Kickin' It" on Disney XD as Rudy, a former amateur martial artist who is forced to retire from competition and become the bumbling but well intentioned owner and sensei of the Bobby Wasabi Martial Arts Academy.

Earles also stars as Miley's older brother Jackson, who uses his connection with Hannah Montana to impress the girls, in the Emmy-nominated Disney Channel original series "Hannah Montana."

Born in San Diego on April 26, Jason Earles lived in Ohio and Washington before his family settled in Portland, Oregon. The middle of four brothers and a sister, Earles gravitated towards acting as a way to stand out from his siblings. He started in the third grade production of "Hansel & Gretel," and from there, starred in various school, community and summer theater productions. After high school, Earles toured with the Montana Shakespeare in the Park theater group before moving to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

On television, he had a recurring role on Disney Channel's "Phil of the Future" and guest starred on "The Shield," "One on One," "Still Standing" and "Mad TV." He also starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Dadnapped" with his "Hannah Montana" co-stars Emily Osment and Moises Arias. Earles appeared in the feature films "Hannah Montana: The Movie," "National Treasure," "American Pie: Band Camp" and "Special Ed," as well as numerous stage productions, including "Twelfth Night," "The Tempest," "Pinocchio," "Tom Sawyer" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."

Earles enjoys watching sports, especially football and supporting the Cleveland Browns, and is an avid video game player. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife, two cats Presley and Timmy, and Australian Shepherd Andy.
