Jason Flemyng stars "X-Men: First Class," as Azazel, opposite James McAvoy, January Jones, Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender; the action-adventure "Ironclad," as Beckett, opposite James Purefoy and Paul Giamatti; and Joe Wright's thriller "Hanna," as Erik, opposite Saoirse Ronan, Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett. Flemyng also recently starred in "Clash of the Titans" as Calibos / King Acrisius.

Jason Flemyng recently starred in the first global feature film from Dubai, "City of Life," directed by Ali Mustafa and costarring Natalie Dormer. Flemyng also costarred in David Fincher's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," opposite Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. Known for creating distinct characters, Flemyng brought his talent to "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen," opposite Sean Connery, "Rock Star," opposite Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston, The Hughes Brothers' "From Hell," opposite Johnny Depp, and Bernardo Bertolucci's "Stealing Beauty," opposite Liv Tyler.

Earlier in his career, Flemyng starred in Guy Ritchie's directorial debut, "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," which earned him international recognition and critical praise. He worked again with director Ritchie and producer Matthew Vaughn on the follow-up, "Snatch," in which he starred opposite Brad Pitt. Flemyng collaborated three more times with Vaughn: on Vaughn's directorial debut, "Layer Cake," starring Daniel Craig; on "Stardust," opposite Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Claire Danes; and on "Kick-Ass," starring Nicolas Cage and Mark Strong. Flemyng's other feature film credits include "Below," "The Red Violin," "Deep Rising," "The Hollow Reed" and "Alive and Kicking."

Flemyng's television work includes roles in the popular BBC series "Primeval"; the BBC production "Screen One" episode "A Question of Attribution," directed by John Schlesinger; and the BBC's "The Man-Eating Leopard of Rudraprayag."

His theater credits include several Royal Shakespeare Company (Barbican) productions, including "Coriolanus," "As You Like It," "Moscow Gold," "Barbarians," and "All's Well That End's Well."
