Jennifer Esposito stars in "Blue Bloods" on CBS as Detective Jackie Curatola. She previously starred on ABC's "Samantha Who?" as best friend Andrea, a hilarious, self-obsessed, bad-girl lush. The show won a 2008 People's Choice Award for Best New Comedy.

With an impressive body of work that encompasses theater, television and film, Jennifer Esposito is one of the most sought out actresses in Hollywood.

Esposito's long line of film credits include the Academy Award-winning "Crash," "Taxi," alongside Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon, "Breakin' All the Rules," with Jamie Foxx, Morris Chestnut and Gabrielle Union, "Kiss Me Guido," "No Looking Back," "Boys Life 3," "Just One Time" and "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer." Esposito has worked twice with Spike Lee, most notably in her breakthrough performance as Ruby, an aspiring punk singer whose boyfriend (Adrian Brody) is suspected of being the notorious Son of Sam killer, in "Summer of Sam" and in "He Got Game." She was also featured in "Side Streets," "The Bachelor," Wes Craven's "Dracula 2000" and "Don't Say a Word," with Michael Douglas and Brittany Murphy.

Children everywhere recognize Esposito for her comedic performance alongside Dana Carvey in "The Master of Disguise." She also joined an impressive cast in the caper comedy "Welcome to Collinwood," which included Luis Guzman, William H. Macy, Sam Rockwell, Patricia Clarkson and George Clooney.

No stranger to television, Esposito appeared as a guest star in five episodes of the critically acclaimed drama, "Rescue Me." She also starred in "Related," had a recurring role on "New York Undercover" and guest starred on "Law & Order." In 1996 she gained favorable notice as Stacey Paterno, the spunky Brooklyn-born, Italian-American mayoral secretary in "Spin City."

Esposito first got her training to become an actress while studying at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York, where she trained for Broadway musical theater, which led to accolades on the stage.

Esposito currently lives in both New York and Los Angeles with her dogs.
