Jeremiah Hemphill from "Mounted in Alaska" stars in the History Channel reality docu-series. Jeremiah ("Mounted in Alaska") works for Russell Knight at his shop, Knight's Taxidermy, in Anchorage, Alaska.

Russ gave Jeremiah Hemphill the nickname of "Johnson" after the film character, Jeremiah Johnson. Jeremiah's superb sewing skills are often foreign to the male persuasion, but that doesn't take away from his masculine persona. He's a tough as nails Marine who served two tours of duty in Iraq.

Johnson ("Mounted in Alaska") is new to the taxidermy trade. Two years ago, he answered an ad on the internet and was hired as a grunt in Knight's fleshing room. However, Russ quickly took Jeremiah under his wing.
