Jerome Flynn started
acting in school plays and starred in the lead role of John Proctor in "The Crucible," directed by his brother, for the Sevenoaks Youth Theatre. Flynn then took a three year acting course at the Central School of Speech and Drama in Swiss Cottage. He later appeared in "Timon of Athens" at the Young Vic Theatre, and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" in Birmingham. While at school, Jerome also sang with a group called Carte Blanche. They played at clubs including Maxim's de Paris. Flynn later had three UL No. 1 hits with Robson Green as Robson & Jerome in the 1990s.
