Jimmy Rose from "America's Got Talent 2013" is one of the Top 60 acts in Season 8 of the NBC talent competition series.

From Pineville, Kentucky, 32-year-old Jimmy Rose is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in Iraq and is currently earning an associate's degree in taxidermy. While deployed, a fellow Marine taught Jimmy the basics of guitar, and he began to write his own songs. Jimmy performs anywhere he has the opportunity and has opened shows for country artists such as Joe Nichols and Josh Turner. Jimmy has worked several jobs over the years, from construction to coal mining, and he is an avid outdoorsman. He gets his drive and motivation from family and friends who support and encourage him.
