"Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?" is a reality docu-series on WE tv that digs deeper into the lives of Joan Rivers and Melissa Rivers — the funny, multi-talented mother-daughter duo, giving viewers an inside look once more at what life is really like for this entertainment dynasty of two. Joan is still Melissa's permanent houseguest, occupying the basement and constantly invading Melissa's turf. With the success of "Fashion Police" and their individual business ventures, both women have a lot

to manage, in addition to each other! Working together, living together and playing together would probably be too much for most families, but is it for these two? They survived the first go-around but will they survive another?

The series is a mix of comedy, reality and relatability. Like any family where there's ample craziness and differences of opinion, their love is evident. At times loving and at times tumultuous, this ultimate mother-daughter showdown addresses the feelings most daughters have towards their mother in the return of smotherhood.

Season 2

On season 2 of "Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?," we witness family drama Rivers-style. The Rivers clan is on the move — from Joan's uber-plush East Side apartment in Manhattan, to a deluxe suite at a Las Vegas casino where she's headlining, to a frontier ranch in Wyoming where chaos and comedy follow. Meanwhile, back at home Melissa continues to be in a committed relationship with Jason — or as Joan bluntly puts it, she's "still unmarried." Now that her nanny has left, Melissa struggles to balance her career with raising her lovable 10-year-old son Cooper. With both Melissa and Joan's lives in overdrive these days, assistant Sabrina's sassy sister Melody has joined to help add order to this household. And this season, we meet Tony Tripoli, Joan's head writer on their hit show "Fashion Police," who has a "friendly rivalry" with the Rivers other stand-up comedian friend, Lynn. Also, this season, we see Joan and Melissa amongst their celebrity friends such as Perez Hilton, Jimmy Fallon, Jason Alexander and Carol Burnett.

Season 3

Joan and Melissa invite cameras back into their lives to capture what will prove to be the most intense season yet! With shocking revelations and mounting tensions, the two pull back the veil on their personal lives this season as they tackle complex issues like sexuality, infidelity, love, health and parenting. The result is a never-been-seen, in-depth look at this funny, multi-faceted mother-daughter pair.

If you thought Joan couldn't be any busier than last season, guess again! Joan, who is still living in Melissa's L.A. home, is in overdrive to always stay relevant with the launch of her web series, "In Bed With Joan"; her 11th book, a New York Times best seller, I Hate Everyone ... Starting With Me; host of a national TV fashion series; a SRO comedy act that has her traveling all across the country; and a recent comedy tour that takes Joan and Melissa across the pond for an unforgettable British invasion.

In addition, this season features notable guests Jane Lynch, Lily Tomlin, Ellie Kemper, Kelly Osbourne, Graham Norton, Kato Kaelin and Chris Harrison.

Meanwhile, after a heartbreaking split with her then-boyfriend, Jason Zimmerman, Melissa delves deep to uncover the source of her problems with men. She enters therapy to talk about her ongoing struggle of being the daughter of a cultural icon and living in her shadow, the effects of her father's suicide, as well as dealing with the emotional repercussions of her failed, past relationships. Determined to not let anything hold her back, Melissa's empire is steadily growing as she juggles a number of ventures, including executive producing an hour-long TV fashion series with her outspoken mom.

It's all about making better choices for Melissa this season and although there are differences of opinion between the two Rivers, the love is still evident; and underneath it all, there's a strong mother-daughter bond that viewers still can't get enough of.

Season 4

Forget a traditional bucket list! Try Joan Rivers' version — her f***it list! Pushing boundaries is what Joan does best, but turning the Big 8-0, the death of her sister and the passing of her beloved dog, leave Joan questioning it all. She pledges to live her life to the fullest and that means a no-holds-barred approach to just about everything including making a sex tape! The sky's the limit for the reigning queen of comedy while her down-to-earth daughter, Melissa, desperately tries to keep her mother's feet on the ground. Has she lost her mind?

After eight decades, she's done it all ... well, not quite. Joan is having a "senior life crisis" according to her daughter, Melissa, and that means trying everything and stopping at nothing. Joan keeps up her professional obligations — "Fashion Police" and "In Bed with Joan" — but is on a mission to achieve an even higher level of success. Much to her daughter's dismay, sex tapes, gambling, pawn shops, food fights, drugs, blackouts and bird attacks are some of the extracurricular activities on Joan's agenda this season. No one can get in her way, not even Melissa. Failed attempts at containing her mother, while cohabitating under Melissa's roof, only lead to more stress for daughter dearest, who is trying to be the calm in Joan's storm. Meanwhile, she's juggling her own family life, a long distance relationship and reeling from the revelation of a betrayal by her best friend — a perfect storm of stress that pushes Melissa to the edge. Joan's "f***it list" threatens to sever their mother-daughter bond and leads to dire consequences.

This season, Joan enlists the expertise of the who's who of Hollywood including Kris Jenner, Carmen Electra, Tara Reid, Christina Milian, Giuliana Rancic, Penn & Teller, Margaret Cho, Marissa Jaret Winokur, French Stewart, Lisa Rinna and more, to help her overcome her "senior life crisis" and get to the next level.

"Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?" Season 4 is produced by WE tv and Pietown Productions. Executive producer for WE tv is Annabelle McDonald.
