Joe Anderson stars in "The River" on ABC as Lincoln Cole. He also stars in the movies "The Grey," opposite Liam Neeson and Dermot Mulroney, as Flannery, and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn," opposite Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, as Alistair.

He followed that up with the 2007 thriller "The Ruins," and in 2008 he starred in Gary Yates' indie project "High Life," about four junkies who try to rob a bank.
Recently, Anderson was seen opposite Hilary Swank and Ewan McGregor in the Amelia Earhart biopic "Amelia," in the low-budget horror film "The Crazies," and in "Love Happens," portraying the musician boyfriend of Jennifer Aniston. He's also recently wrapped the wild action flick "Rogue's Gallery," where he plays the lead character amongst a group of government assassins who turn on themselves.
Anderson has also appeared in several productions for British television, including "Afterlife" for ITV, "A Doll's House" for BBC, and "Cause Celebre," "Vacation with Trunks," and "Midsomer Murders."
Not only is Anderson a talented actor but he is also a gifted musician having performed several vocal numbers for the soundtrack of "Across the Universe" as well as playing the bass in "Control" and "The 27 Club." His performance in "The 27 Club" garnered him the Best Actor Drama award at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival in 2008 and has also been recognized by the Rising Star Award at the California Independent Film Festival in 2008.
