Joe Struck from "The First 48: Missing Persons" is one of the police detectives featured in the A&E reality series.

Det. Joe Struck has been a Chicago Police officer for 20 years. He worked Homicide for 12 years, then moved to Missing Persons 3 years ago. He likes this assignment because he has a positive impact on the victims he deals with.

Struck is also scuba diver and a heavy weapons expert. On a 24/7 basis, he's on call to back-up the SWAT Team. His fellow officers constantly comment on his driving style, which he describes as "fast but safe."
