Joe Wengert is a featured stand-up comedian in Comedy Central's "The Half Hour."

Joe Wengert is a staff writer for "Kroll Show" on Comedy Central. He has previously written for "Comedy Bang! Bang!," "Playing House" and the "Onion News Network."

As a stand up, Wengert was named one of the "New Faces" at the 2012 Montreal Just for Laughs comedy festival. He has appeared at SXSW, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Telluride Comedy Festival and at various shows around Los Angeles.

Wengert's acting credits include a recurring role on ABC's "How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)" and appearances on "Modern Family" and "Key & Peele," as well as national commercials for H&R Block, McDonald's and Mr. Clean.

Wengert has been a regular improv player at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) Theater since 2003. He can be seen performing every Monday night with UCB-LA house team, The Smokes, and every Saturday and Sunday with ASSSSCAT.
