John Bradley, who's also known as John Bradley-West, stars in "Game of Thrones" on HBO in the recurring role of Samwell Tarly.

British actor John Bradley grew up in Wythenshawe, Lancashire, and is a graduate of the Manchester Metropolitan University, where he gained an honors degree in acting. "Game of Thrones" marks his TV series debut. He has also played the recurring role of Giovanni de Medici in "Borgia" and has appeared in episodes of both "Merlin" and "Shameless."

Bradley is also an accomplished drummer and has experience in stand-up comedy.
