After eight successful years touring the country as a stand-up comedian, making multiple national television appearances, John Henson was selected out of 3,000 hopefuls to replace Greg Kinnear as host of "Talk Soup." During his four and a half years as host and executive producer at E! Entertainment Television, John Henson received three Emmy nominations, four Cable Ace nominations, performed over 1,200 episodes and sold out the Chicago Theater. Leaving E!, John Henson went on to host several primetime specials for the network, including "The Best Commercials You've Never Seen," "The Best Television You've Never Seen" and "The Television Show with John Henson," an original hourlong special he wrote, produced and hosted. From there John Henson went to Spike TV, where hosted the live GQ Awards pre-show and created his own hourlong weekly series, "The John Henson Project." Most recently John Henson ended a three-year run on TV Guide Network as host, writer and executive producer of "Watch This," the longest running series on the network.
As a writer, John Henson has been a contributor to US Weekly, TV Guide Magazine and George, as well as co-authoring a screenplay for Revolution Studios and Adam Sandler.
