John Henson is the co-host of ABC's reality competition series, "Wipeout."

Best known as the former host of the Emmy Award-winning "Talk Soup" on E! Entertainment Television, John Henson is an actor, writer, host and producer of over 1,400 hours of television.

After eight successful years touring the country as a stand-up comedian, making multiple national television appearances, John Henson was selected out of 3,000 hopefuls to replace Greg Kinnear as host of "Talk Soup." During his four and a half years as host and executive producer at E! Entertainment Television, John Henson received three Emmy nominations, four Cable Ace nominations, performed over 1,200 episodes and sold out the Chicago Theater. John Henson is the highest rated and longest tenured host in the 11-year run of "Talk Soup."

Leaving E!, John Henson went on to host several primetime specials for the network, including "The Best Commercials You've Never Seen," "The Best Television You've Never Seen" and "The Television Show with John Henson," an original hourlong special he wrote, produced and hosted. From there John Henson went to Spike TV, where hosted the live GQ Awards pre-show and created his own hourlong weekly series, "The John Henson Project." Most recently John Henson ended a three-year run on TV Guide Network as host, writer and executive producer of "Watch This," the longest running series on the network.

As a writer, John Henson has been a contributor to US Weekly, TV Guide Magazine and George, as well as co-authoring a screenplay for Revolution Studios and Adam Sandler. As an actor, John Henson has appeared in the feature films "Life Without Dick," with Sarah Jessica Parker and Harry Connick, Jr., "Stag," with Kevin Dillon, and "Bar Hopping," with Kelly Preston and Kevin Nealon. John Henson can also been seen as the reporter in a recurring guest star role on "My Name Is Earl."

John Henson was the host of the Creative Arts Technical Emmys in Los Angeles, opposite Meredith Vieira in 2006, and is a regular pop culture analyst for channels CNN and MSNBC, among others. Recently John Henson has expanded his production company, Skunk Boy Inc., selling a feature film to Paramount, where he is set to produce for Double Feature Films and Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh.
