John Michael Higgins stars in "Happily Divorced" on TV Land as Peter Lovett.
On the big screen, Higgins stars in the romantic drama "Big Miracle," opposite Drew Barrymore and John Krasinski, Cameron Crowe's "We Bought a Zoo," starring Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson, and the outrageous comedy "Bad Teacher," co-starring Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake.

Higgins starred in "Fired Up," a comedy for Screen Gems Pictures, as well as "Yes Man" with Jim Carrey for Warner Bros. In 2007, he starred opposite Vince Vaughn in "Fred Claus." Higgins also was seen in the Universal film "Evan Almighty," starring opposite Steve Carell and Morgan Freeman.
In addition to his film work, Higgins starred as Phil Knight on NBC's "Kath & Kim." He also starred in the Sony pilot "The Thick of It," alongside Oliver Platt. Mitch Hurwitz ("Arrested Development") created the pilot, which was directed by Guest. Higgins played a recurring role on "Arrested Development" as well during the show's three seasons.
