Jon McLaren stars in "Cyberbully," an ABC Family TV movie, as Scott Ozsik.

Born and raised in Richmond, a small town on the outskirts of Ottawa, Canada, Jon McLaren spent most of his time growing up playing sports. He currently resides in Ottawa and spends most his time between home, Montreal and Toronto. McLaren attended Richmond Public School and South Carleton High School, where he would later move on to graduate from the University of Ottawa and receive a Baccalaureate with honors in Commerce degree. McLaren also routinely enjoys playing golf, actively plays hockey, and has recently taken an interest in snowboarding.

McLaren fell into his love of acting and entertainment during high school at the age of 14. He though got his start in modeling, when friends, as a practical joke, sent photographs of him to local talent agents. To their surprise, McLaren received a few callbacks and eventually signed with a dual agency, offering both modeling and acting guidance. It didn't take McLaren long to discover his passion for acting, at which point he ceased modeling efforts in pursuit of an acting career—he's never looked back ever since!

Thus far in his career, Jon's been blessed to have worked on numerous films, with young and veteran stars and filmmakers alike. On the big screen, he was seen in Renny Harlin's "The Convenant," opposite Chace Crawford, Taylor Kitsch, Sebastian Stan and Jessica Lucas, and the Canadian films "Another Man's Wife," starring Rena Sofer, "The Stepson" and "The Perfect Roommate." On television, McLaren appeared in Lifetime's "The Love of Her Life" and "My Nanny's Secret."
