Jonathan LaPaglia stars in "The Slap" on DirecTV's Audience Network as Hector.

Jonathan LaPaglia is the youngest of three brothers who grew up in Adelaide, South Australia. He graduated from the University of Adelaide with a degree in medicine. He worked three years as a physician in Adelaide, Sydney and London. Feeling restricted, he decided to follow his brother, Anthony LaPaglia, into acting. In 1994, Jonathan moved to New York City where he joined the Circle in the Square Theatre School.

LaPaglia got his first break in 1996, when he joined the cast of the TV series "New York Undercover." Since then, Jonathan has acted in countless U.S. TV series. He starred in all three seasons of UPN's "Seven Days" and had recurring roles in NBC's "Windfall" and CBS's "Cold Case." He has also made appearances in episodes of "Burn Notice," "Castle," "Bones," "NCIS," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "The District" and "The Sopranos."
