Josh Henderson stars in the new "Dallas" (2011) on TNT as JR Ewing's (Larry Hagman) son, John Ross.

Texas native Josh Henderson is proving himself a double threat on the big screen as well as in the recording studio. Josh Henderson is simultaneously juggling roles in feature films and television, and is currently in discussions to sign with a major recording label. Josh Henderson was recently introduced to audiences worldwide as Austin McCann, the bad-boy nephew of Edie Britt (Nicollette Sheridan) on ABC's "Desperate Housewives."

Josh Henderson's films include the recent Disney hit "Step Up," about a delinquent teen given a second chance. Theatergoers will have another opportunity to see his work in Paramount's "Broken Bridges," in which he shares screen time with fellow Oklahoman and country music superstar Toby Keith. Josh Henderson most recently wrapped production opposite Kristin Cavallari ("Laguna Beach") in the thriller "Fingerprints."

Josh Henderson's additional film credits include his debut in New regency's "The Girl Next Door," with Elisha Cuthbert, and Sony's recent hit remake of the family comedy "Yours, Mine and Ours," with Dennis Quaid and Rene Russo.

No stranger to television, Josh Henderson starred as the lead on FX's critically lauded Steven Bochco series, "Over There," portraying an ambitious young soldier who had to cope with the tragic consequences of the war in Iraq and its effects on the people around him. Josh Henderson's additional forays into TV include his series regular role on the comedy series "One on One," as well as appearances on "North Shore," "She Spies" and "8 simple Rules."

Born in Dallas and raised in Tulsa, Josh Henderson moved to Los Angeles after winning a talent search for the WB reality show "Pop Stars." When not acting, Josh Henderson enjoys singing and songwriting.
