Kate Dickie stars in "Game of Thrones" on HBO as Catelyn Stark's younger sister, Lisa Arryn who is the former wife of Jon Arryn, the deceased Hand of the King. Suspecting foul play, Lisa sends correspondence to the Stark family, telling them that she suspects Jon was secretly murdered by the Lannister family.

Scottish actress Kate Dickie trained at Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Arts and has since appeared in film, television and theater. For her work in the movie "Red Road," she won a BAFTA Scotland Award for Best Actress in a Scottish Film and a Chlotrudis Award for Best Actress. Her other film credits include "Somers Town," "Summer," "Wasted" and "Outcast."

On television, Dickie has appeared in several UK series, including "Five Daughters," "Taggart" and "Still Game." She has also starred in numerous independent shorts.

An accomplished stage actress as well, Dickie is a member of such groundbreaking Scottish theater companies as Suspect Culture, Theatre Cryptic and Raindog. In 2007, she was nominated for a TMA Theatre Award for best performance in a play for her work in "Aalst" for the National Theatre of Scotland.
