Katie Thomas stars in "Teachers" on TV Land as Deb Adler. For her performance in the web series on which the television show is based, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2012 Gold Coast Film Festival.

Katie Thomas is an actress, writer, improviser, and producer. She has performed in venues from New York City to Los Angeles to the Alaskan high seas, and has credits with The Second City, the iO Theater, and The Annoyance Theatre. Detroit's Between the Lines magazine awarded her with a Wilde Award for Best Actress in an Original Production for her portrayal of Dottie in "Before and Laughter" at the Planet Ant Theatre. 

While getting a B.F.A. in Theatre and a B.A. in English at The University of Michigan, Thomas had the honor of performing for legendary playwright, Arthur Miller, in "An Arthur Miller Celebration," which was directed by Tony nominee, Mark Lamos. She was more recently seen performing with Dry Erase at iO Chicago.
