Katrina Parker (The Voice)

Katrina Parker from "The Voice" is one of the contestants in Season 2 of the NBC reality singing competition series. She is a 34-year-old underwriting assistant at an insurance company. She is on Adam Levine's team.

Katrina Parker ("The Voice") sang "One of Us" by Joan Osbourne for her blind audition. Levine became her mentor after he was the only judge to turn his chair around.

This indie pop singer and songwriter is a huge Dolly Parton fan. As a child, she could not pronounce her "R"s but when singing, every verse came out perfectly. She has suffered from several severe health issues, including a time when she was sick for two years and couldn't sing because of hidden mold in her home. Despite it all, she has never given up her dream of becoming a successful singer and pianist.

Parker grew up in Holly Ridge, North Carolina, where "the grass is green and the grits are delicious." She moved to Los Angeles after graduating from college in Nashville, Tennessee.
