Katy Mixon stars in "Mike & Molly" on CBS, as Victoria Flynn, and in HBO's comedy "Eastbound & Down" as April Buchanan. Mixon can also be seen in the movie, "Drive Angry," starring Nicolas Cage, as Norma Jean.
On the big screen, Katy Mixon co-starred opposite Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn in the Warner Bros. production "Four Christmases," portraying the very pregnant wife of co-star Jon Favreau. Other feature film credits include "State of Play," opposite Russell Crowe; "All About Steve,"
Her television credits include "My Name Is Earl" and the recurring role of Betsy on "Two and a Half Men" on CBS.
Katy knew at a very young age she was destined for a career in the performing arts. During her senior year of high school, she was given an award by the National Foundation of the Arts in Miami, which led to an audition for and acceptance into the drama program at Carnegie Mellon University. Katy graduated in 2003 with a BFA from the Conservatory of Drama.
She was a featured member of the 2000 summer season company at the Tony Award-Winning Utah Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City, Utah. Katy continues to perform regularly throughout southern California with the Upright Cabaret Company.
A native of Pensacola, Florida, she is extremely close with her large family, including her five sisters and one brother, all of whom are musically gifted. Mixon loves to shop, cook, exercise, and is an accomplished singer.
Currently, she lives in Los Angeles.
