Kirstie Alley from "Dancing with the Stars: All Stars" is one of the celebrity contestants in Season 15 of the ABC ballroom competition series. Her professional dance partner is Chmerkovskiy who returns for his 13th season. The pair previously competed in Season 12, coming in second place. Alley also recently starred in A&E's reality series "Kirstie Alley's Big Life" and Showtime's comedy "Fat Actress."

and highly acclaimed television programs. Alley appeared in the CBS Movie of the Week "Family Sins," to rave reviews. She is best known for her portrayal of Rebecca Howe on NBC's "Cheers," one of the most critically and commercially beloved sitcoms of all time. During her six years on the show, she garnered Emmy, Golden Globe, and People's Choice Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. Alley continued her sitcom success as the producer and star of NBC's "Veronica's Closet," for which she earned a People's Choice award, as well as Emmy, SAG, and Golden Globe nominations. Other television credits include CBS movie "David's Mother," for which she won an Emmy, and the miniseries "The Last Don," adapted from the novel by Mario Puzo.

Alley made her film debut in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan," and starred opposite John Travolta in the wildly successful "Look Who's Talking" series. Other film credits include Woody Allen's "Deconstructing Harry," "Drop Dead Gorgeous,"" For Richer or Poorer," and "Summer School."

In 2003, Alley portrayed the mentally disabled Donna Lee Shelby Thornton in the CBS film "Profoundly Normal." She also played Ann Putnam CBS miniseries "Salem Witch Trials."

She also starred in The CBS film, "Family Sins" and "While I Was Gone."
