Lacey Chabert stars in "Still the King" on CMT as Laura Beth, the head of the church boosters, who considers it her personal responsibility to guide the congregation's new preacher, Vernon.

Regarded as one of the best young actresses of her generation, Lacey Chabert was exposed to drama and music performances in and around her hometown in Purvis, Mississippi from an early age. She gained her break in a cough syrup commercial before successfully auditioning for the Broadway production of "Les Miserables," for which she played young Cosette for two years. In 1998, she made her feature film debut as Penny Robinson in "Lost in Space."

Lacey's resume is as extensive as it is versatile. Constantly delivering memorable performances, she has quickly become one of Hollywood's most sought-after talents. She is best known for her role as Claudia on the Golden Globe Award-winning FOX television series "Party of Five" and the hit film "Mean Girls." Her other credits include "Gypsy," starring Bette Midler, "A Little Piece of Heaven" with Cloris Leachman, and Lifetime's "What If God Were the Sun," starring opposite Gena Rowlands.

Lacey's feature credits include Warner Bros.' "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," starring Jennifer Garner and Matthew McConaughey, "Mean Girls," for which she received an MTV Movie Award, "Daddy Day Care," in which she starred as Anjelica Huston's daughter, and A&E's "The Brooke Ellison Story," in which she played the lead in Christopher Reeve's final directorial project.

On television, Lacey was recently seen in Hallmark Channel's original movie "A Christmas Melody," directed by Mariah Carey. Guest appearances on series include "Teachers," "Baby Daddy" and "Ghost Whisperer."

Known for her natural acting skills and warm, charming personality, Lacey's cotton candy voice has been in numerous animated films and TV shows, including Nickelodeon's "The Wild Thornberrys," Sony's "The Spectacular Spider-Man," FOX's "Allen Gregory" and most recently, Warner Bros.' "Young Justice."
