Lantie Foster from "Project Runway" is one of the contestants in Season 10 of the Lifetime reality fashion design competition series. She is a 48-year-old designer who grew up in Sacramento, California, and is currently living in New York City.

She attended Brooks College in Long Beach, California, for two years and spent another two years at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She was named best designer in her graduating class at both schools. In addition, she was chosen to exhibit at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel as part of "the best in the year of fashion."
Foster considers her design strength to be using unexpected textures, items and trims together. She has drawn inspiration in the past from films and glamour, and is currently influenced most by line, color and texture. While she's designing, she likes listening to adult alternative music. The later it gets at night though, the more she likes to play heavy rock.
