The versatile Lauren German grew up with a passion for theater and acting that led to her first stage work in leading roles for productions of both "Peter Pan" and "Oliver." Her breakout role came in 2002 when she starred with Mandy Moore and Shane West in the hit film "A Walk to Remember," directed by Adam Shankman.

On stage she has starred in Gale Kate Jr.'s "A Midsummer Night's Rave," an adaptation of Shakespeare. She also played in Mathew Cole Weiss's romantic-comedy, "Standing Still," and in "RX,"also known as "Simple Lies," a thriller directed by Ariel Vroman.
German attended The School of Theater at the Orange County High School of the Arts and went on to study Theater and Cinema at the University of Southern California.
She currently resides in Los Angeles.
