Lin-Manuel Miranda stars in Pivot's improv comedy series "Freestyle Love Supreme."

Lin-Manuel Miranda is the Tony and Grammy-winning composer-lyricist of Broadway's "In the Heights," which received four 2008 Tony Awards, with Lin-Manuel receiving a Tony Award for Best Score, and a nomination for Best Leading Actor in a Musical. He is the co-composer and co-lyricist of Broadway's "Bring it On: The Musical," which received a 2013 Tony nomination for Best Musical and a 2013 Drama Desk nomination for Best Lyrics in a Musical. Miranda contributed new songs to the revival of Stephen Schwartz's "Working" and provided Spanish translations for the 2009 Broadway revival of "West Side Story." He previewed his work, "The Hamilton Mixtape," at Lincoln Center Theater's 2012 American Songbook Series.

On television, Miranda played the recurring role of Dr. Ruben Marcado in NBC's drama "Do No Harm" and also appeared as himself numerous times in "The Electric Company." He has also appeared in episodes of "Smash," "How I Met Your Mother," "Modern Family," "So You Think You Can Dance," "House," "The Sopranos" and "Sesame Street."

On the big screen, Miranda was seen in "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," starring Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton, and the romantic comedy "200 Cartas."
