Linden Ashby stars in "Teen Wolf" on MTV as Sheriff Stilinsky. He also recently starred in "Mean Girls 2," an ABC Family TV movie, as Rod Mitchell.

Linden Ashby was born in Atlantic Beach, Florida. He went to private school at Bolles High School and then attended Fort Lewis College, a branch of Colorado State University, in Durango, where he majored in business and psychology. He became an actor shortly after starting college and studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse under the prestigious Sanford Meisner for two years.

Ashby has been in movies such as "Prom Night" (2008), "Resident Evil:Extinction" (2007), "Wild Things 2" (2004), "Judgment Day" (1999), "Mortal Combat" (1995) and has acted in several TV series such as the original "Melrose Place" in the 1990s and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." He most recently had a recurring role on ABC's "The Gates," as Ben McAllister. On daytime television, he starred in both "Days of Our Lives," as Paul Hollingsworth, and "The Young and the Restless," as Cameron Kirsten.

Ashby has sung in a rock band called The Loners and has plenty of hobbies that he enjoys with his family such as golf, tennis, wind surfing, scuba diving and horse back riding. He has two children, Savannah (born November 1992) and Grace (born June 1991).
