Luke Newberry stars in BBC America's post-zombie apocalypse drama "In the Flesh," as Kieren Walker.

British actor Luke Newberry trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. His credits include "My Dad's the Prime Minister" (2003), a satirical UK comedy series originally written for a Friday evening broadcast but moved to Children's BBC; an uncredited role as Teddy Lupin in the epilogue to "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part Two" (2011); and as the young policeman in the early scenes of "Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia" (2012).

In 2012, his work included "Eight Minutes Idle," based upon Matt Thorne's award-winning novel about call center workers; "Quartet," a comedy set in a home for retired opera singers, starring Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, Billy Connolly and Tom Courtney and directed by Dustin Hoffman; and Joe Wright's "Anna Karenina," starring Keira Knightley, Matthew Macfadyen and Jude Law. In 2013, Luke appeared in "Lightfields" for ITV.

Newberry has performed on stage in "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang," "Oliver" and "The Secret Garden," all at The Royal Shakespeare Company.
