Luke Tipple is the host of Syfy's reality competition series "Opposite Worlds." He previously hosted The CW's reality competition series "Capture."

Luke Tipple is a television personality, marine biologist and award winning executive producer of What We Do Media based in Los Angeles. Originally hailing from Adelaide, Australia, his travels have taken him around the globe. As a marine biologist and adventure guide, he's come face to face with some of the worlds most dangerous predators, and survived. In fact he's one of the pioneers of out-of-cage experiences with Great White Sharks.

Luke has hosted television shows for the Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, Animal Planet and AT&T U-Verse Buzz, in addition to appearing in several national commercials, including hosting and executive producing the VW Shark Week Campaign in 2012, which was awarded 6 Gold and 2 Silver Addys.

Along with regularly coordinating potential life and death situations, both terrestrial and sub-surface, he is just as passionate about working to educate people about the beauty and science of our world. Tipple hopes that his adventures, shared with millions, will help inspire the next generation of scientists and ambassadors of the planet.
