Who is your primary cooking inspiration?
My mother is my cooking inspiration.
What are your favorite food blogs (besides your own)?
I don't read any food blogs.
What is your favorite/least favorite dish to eat?
My favorite food is curry goat.
What is your favorite/least favorite dish to cook?
My favorite food to cook is any type of seafood. Being from New England it's always fresh and easy to get.
What is your favorite go-to dish to bring to a potluck?
My favorite dish to bring to a potluck is collard greens with smoke turkey. Always a great dish.
What is your favorite/least favorite type of cuisine and why?
My favorite cuisine is West Indian because I like heat, and they cook with a lot of spice. I don't have a least favorite.
What travel destinations have you either been to or want to travel to for food inspiration?
I want to go to Tokyo and try all the street food.
What are your top 3 songs to cook to?

Why did you want to be a contestant?
My main motivation was my 3-year-old baby girl. I don't have a job, and competing for the grand prize would help so much for her future education and possibly opening my own shop.
What is your favorite comfort food and why?
Salt fish and dumplings, a Jamaican breakfast that reminds me of my late grandmother. She used to cook that for me all the time.
