Marc Bendavid stars in "Dark Matter" on Syfy as One aka Jace Corso.

Canadian actor Marc Bendavid played the recurring roles of Grant Yates in TeenNick's "Degrassi: The Next Generation" and Scott Brandon in Syfy's "Bitten." He also recurred in the Australian series "Hard Rock Medical" and has made appearances in episodes of "The Listener," "Murdoch Mysteries," "Nikita," "Flashpoint" and "The Border." In addition, he starred in Lifetime Movie Network's original movie "Her Husband's Betrayal," opposite Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, and played a supporting role in two other television movies: Lifetime's "Too Late to Say Goodbye" and PBS's "Anne of Green Gables."

Onstage, Bendavid has performed in productions of "When It Rains" at La MaMa Theater New York, "Romeo and Juliet" and "The Real Thing" at Manitoba Theatre Centre, "A View from the Bridge" at Segal Centre Montreal, "The Madonna Painter" at Factory Theatre Toronto, "The War of the Worlds" and "Shakespeare: If Music Be ... " at Art of Time Ensemble Toronto, "The Gladstone Variations" at Convergence Theatre Toronto, and "Tales from Ovid" at Centaur Theatre Montreal.

Bendavid graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada, where he appeared in theatrical productions of "Measure for Measure," "The Seagull," "Heartbreak House" and "Antony & Cleopatra."
