In 2007, Shelton appeared in the Robert Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino double-feature collaboration, "Grindhouse," playing a prominent role in Rodriguez's "Planet Terror." She previously worked with the director in the hit "Sin City."

Shelton also starred in Oliver Stone's George Bush biopic, "W," the independent feature "Untitled," "Our Lady of Victory," in which she plays a nun at an all-girls Catholic college in the 1970s, and "A Perfect Getaway" with Milla Jovovich and Steve Zahn.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Shelton attended UCLA where she majored in Film and Theater. An avid traveler, she has visited countries throughout Asia, South America and Africa. She keeps fit with yoga and pilates.

Marley Shelton resides in Los Angeles with her two dogs, Jackson and Bella, Pit Bull/Tosa mixes from the same litter.
