Matt Oberg stars in FX's series "The Comedians" as Mitch, the head writer of a late-night comedy sketch show.

Matt Oberg is an actor and comedian whose recent credits include the recurring role of Scooter McGreevey in The CW's light-hearted drama "Hart of Dixie," the role of anchor Mark Shepard in Comedy Central's "The Onion Sports Dome," the voice of Mark in Comedy Central's animated series "Ugly Americans" and Tucker Hope #9 in IFC's "The Onion News Network." Other television credits include "Trophy Wife," "30 Rock," "Delocated" and "Chapelle's Show." 

On the big screen, Oberg recently portrayed Bert in the independent film "Bert and Arnie's Guide to Friendship." He was also seen in Tony Gilroy's "The Bourne Legacy," starring Jeremy Renner.

Oberg performs with the PIT improvisational comedy troupe, for which he is a member of the house team "Big Black Car," and is a frequent collaborator with the Obie Award-winning playwright and director John Clancy. 

Oberg lives in Brooklyn with his wife Liz and attended the University of Michigan.
