Matthew Knight stars in "My Babysitter's a Vampire" on Disney Channel as Ethan, who just wants to have a normal high school experience, continue his unbroken streak on the honour roll, and maybe just maybe impress his beautiful babysitter Sarah. But two things are making that almost impossible: The constant paranormal chaos of Whitechapel, and his best friend, Benny.
Matthew Knight made his acting debut in an episode of Showtime's "Queer as Folk." Since then, he has made guest appearances on both American and Canadian TV series, including "The Haunting Tour: The Series," "Heartland," "Flashpoint," "Super Why!," "The Dresden Files" and "Skyland."
Knight has also appeared in numerous TV movies, including "For the Love of a Child," opposite Teri Polo and Peri Gilpin, "Intimate Stranger," "Candles on Bay Street" with Alicia Silverstone, "All the Good Ones Are Married," opposite Daryl Hannah, and a lead role opposite Catherine Bell in "The Good Witch" and its sequels, "The Good Witch's Garden," "The Good Witch's Gift" and "The Good Witch's Family."
Knight's first feature film appearances came in Bill Paxton's "The Greatest Game Ever Played" and "Cheaper by the Dozen 2," starring Steve Martin. Since then Knight has appeared in many other Hollywood and Canadian films, including "Skinwalkers," starring Jason Behr, Elias Koteas and Rhona Mitra, "The Grudge 2," starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, and its sequel "The Grudge 3," "Gooby," starring Robbie Coltrane and David James Elliott, "Christmas in Wonderland" and "Finn on the Fly."
Knight currently lives in Toronto and attends Unionville High School.
