Meghan Linsey from "The Voice" is one of top 48 artists in Season 8 of the NBC reality singing competition series. From New Orleans, Louisiana, she is on Blake Shelton's team.

Meghan Linsey sang "Love Hurts" by the Everly Brothers for her blind audition. After Pharrell Williams, Christian Aguilera and Adam Levine all turned their chairs around, Meghan chose Williams to be her coach. She was then stolen by Shelton during the battle rounds.

After high school, she moved to Nashville, where she started performing in a duo, Steel Magnolia, with her boyfriend Joshua Scott Jones, winning Season 2 of the CMT country music singing competition series "Can You Duet?," earning a record deal with Big Machine Records and a national tour opening for Blake Shelton. Unfortunately, the years on the road took its toll, and the duo broke up. Meghan is now hoping "The Voice" can help her launch her solo career.

Before "Can You Duet?," Meghan was a karaoke host. She loves singing at karaoke bars, which is where she met Josh. Her musical influences include Bekka Bramlett, Aretha Franklin and Bonnie Raitt.
