Melinda McGraw stars IN "Men of a Certain Age" on TNT in the recurring role of Erin Riley. She previously starred in ABC's comedy "Hank" as Tilly.

Raised in Massachusetts within a highly artistic family, Melinda McGraw quickly discovered her passion for the arts and, most specifically, acting. She was a member of the Boston Children's Theater and continued on to train at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, alongside Clive Owen, Ralph Fiennes and many other notable talents. she remained in England performing in such theater productions as "Twelfth Night," "El Cid," "The Foreigner" and "Don Carlos" (directed by Nicolas Hytner).

Upon returning to the United States in 1990, McGraw launched a successful film and television career, working with directors as diverse as Kevin Spacey, Christopher Nolan, James Burrows, Betty Thomas, Peter Tolan and Harold Ramis—and opposite such actors as John Cleese, Kathleen Turner, John Goodman, Alan Alda, Olympia Dukakis and Gary Oldman. She is perhaps best known as Melissa Scully on "The X-Files," Commissioner Gordon's wife, Barbara, in "The Dark Knight" and Bobbie Barrett in "Mad Men."

In her impressive television career, McGraw has made regular and recurring appearances on "Mad Men," "Journeyman," "The West Wing," "Desperate Housewives," "Inconceivable," "Center of the Universe," "The District," "My Adventures in Television," "Skin," "Living in Captivity," "Pursuit of Happiness," "The X-Files," "The Commish" and "The Human Factor." She has also appeared in "Law & Order: SVU," "Saving Grace," "The Practice," "Ally McBeal," "Mad About You," "Larry Sanders" and "Seinfeld."

In addition to television, she appeared in the films "Meeting Spencer," "Skateland," "Weather Girl," "The Dark Knight," "Wrongfully Accused," "Nutty Professor: The Klumps" and "Albino Alligator."

A woman of many talents, McGraw is also a writer, and is published in a book of essays about personal struggles entitled "Note to Self" (Simon & Schuster). She sings and tours with the band JAMBO, playing original American Roots music for young children. She lives in California with her husband, a composer, and their young daughter.
