Mia Soterious stars in "Game of Thrones" on HBO in the recurring role of Mirri Maz Duur, a Lhazareen princess and medicine woman.

An actress and musician, Mia Soteriou is perhaps best known for her performance in the film "Mamma Mia!" In addition to playing the role of Arina, Soterious served as one of the chief vocal coaches in the film. Her other film credits include David Cronenberg's "Eastern Promises," Mike Leigh's "Topsy-Turvy" and "Secrets & Lies," and the British film "Pure."

On British television, Soteriou has played major roles on "EastEnders" and "Holby City." She has also guest-starred on numerous other shows, including "The Bill," "Sunburn," "Peak Practice," "Absolutely Fabulous" and "Murder Most Horrid."
