Michael Hogan stars in "Teen Wolf" on MTV in the recurring role of Gerard. On the big screen, he recently starred in "Red Riding Hood," opposite Amanda Seyfried and Gary Oldman, as The Reeve.

Hogan starred on Sci Fi Channel's "Battlestar Galactica," as Colonel Tigh, Adama's executive officer who is profoundly loyal to his boss despite the urgings of his ambitious wife. He is thrust into command of the rag-tag fleet he falls prey to his fierce temper and his weakness for strong drink.

on a prospector/diamond driller, Genie award winner Michael Hogan was born in the wilds of Northern Ontario, and trained at the National Theatre School in Montreal.

Over the last thirty-five years Hogan has appeared in countless films, TV series and radio dramas.

Recent film credits include "Idaho Peak," "The Investigation," "Nights Below Station Street," and "Marine Life" opposite Cybill Shepherd. A three-time Genie (Canadian Emmy) nominee and one time winner, Hogan was nominated for best leading actor for his role in the MOW "Betrayed." Michael He was nominated for a best supporting actor Genie for his role in "Diplomatic Immunity."

Hogan received the Genie award for best supporting actor for his role in the film "Solitaire."

A frequent guest star on numerous TV series, Hogan's recent credits include "The L Word," "Andromeda," "Night Visions" and "UC: Undercover."

An accomplished stage actor, Hogan appeared as Biff in "Death of a Salesman" at the renowned Stratford Festival. Nineteen years later, he returned, playing the role of Willy Loman. Another treasured stage experience for him was playing Petruchio opposite his wife Susan, as Kate, in "Taming of the Shrew."

Hogan has three grown children, Jennie-Rebecca Hogan and Gabriel Hogan, both actors, and Charlie Hogan, who Michael says is content to be an audience member. Michael Hogan lives on an island with his wife Susan where they enjoy skiing, biking, hiking and kayaking.
