Michel Michelis is an eclectic artist, author, singer, interpretor and actor. Born in the south of France, he lived in Narbonne until the age of seventeen before setting out on his own to pursue a career in the arts. For more than thirty years, he has collaborated on many different projects.
Throughout the seventies, Michelis was on stage at the Theater Workshop Rene Simon in Paris. In the years that followed, he continued to act in both stage and film in France and Italy. In 1984 he began a new adventure in radio, known as the "Radio Libres." Showcasing a unique and controversial style, Michelis performed under the moniker Saga and gained a large following in France.
As a musician, Michelis recorded his first album "Photos Floues" in 1995, featuring his unique take on the blues. The CD was a success in French radio, and the band toured for several years. In 1999 he released his first solo album in the United States, titled "Face a Face." He has continued to pursue various musical ventures and collaborations, and is currently part of a new blues band, Citizen Blues.
