Michelle Stafford played the role of Phyllis Summers Newman on CBS's "The Young and the Restless" from 1994 through 1997, returning to the role in 2000. Stafford's talents earned her a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1997 after two consecutive nominations. In 2003, after a three-year hiatus from the show, she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and won in 2004. She was nominated again in 2005 and 2008.
