Michelle Trachtenberg stars in "Take Me Home Tonight." The wild comedy co-stars Topher Grace, Anna Faris, Dan Fogler, and Teresa Palmer.

Recently, Michelle Trachtenberg starred in NBC's drama "Mercy" as Chloe Payne, a naïve newcomer to the hospital staff. Trachtenberg also played the recurring role of Georgina Sparks on the popular CW series "Gossip Girl."

On the big screen, Michelle Trachtenberg recently starred in "17 Again," opposite Zac Efron, Matthew Perry and Leslie Mann. She also co-starred with Joseph Fiennes in the independent drama "Against the Current," which premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

Trachtenberg was last seen in the Dimension film "Black Christmas," a remake of the 70s horror film with Oliver Hudson and Lacey Chabert. Also in 2006, she appeared in the independent film "Beautiful Ohio," starring alongside William Hurt and Rita Wilson. Chad Lowe directed the acclaimed coming-of-age tale set in 1970s following a family with a 14-year-old math genius son. "Beautiful Ohio" screened at the Sarasota Film Festival, where Trachtenberg won the Breakthrough Performer Award, and the Newport Beach Film Festival.

In 2005, Trachtenberg starred in Disney's "Ice Princess," opposite Kim Cattrall and Joan Cusack, as Casey Carlyle, a girl whose dream is to become a championship figure skater. Trachtenberg also appeared in Gregg Araki's independent drama "Mysterious Skin," opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt, based on the novel of the same name by Scott Heim. "Mysterious Skin" premiered at the 2004 Toronto Film Festival and screened at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. The film won the Jury Award at the BIFF Film Festival in 2004.

A familiar face to television audiences, Trachtenberg starred in the telefilm "The Circuit," opposite Bill Campbell. In addition, she has had regular, recurring or guest roles on many series, including her current stint on "Gossip Girl," as well as an earlier recurring role on HBO's award-winning series "Six Feet Under." However, she is perhaps best known for the starring role of Dawn Summers on the hit show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," for which she won a Young Artist Award for Best Supporting Young Actress in a Drama Series.

Trachtenberg was already a busy child actress when, at age 10, she won the title role of the film "Harriet the Spy," winning the Best Lead Actress in a Feature Film Award from Young Artists of Hollywood. She later starred opposite Matthew Broderick in the action comedy "Inspector Gadget."

Her other feature credits include DreamWorks' ensemble comedy "Eurotrip" and the independent film "Forever Together." Trachtenberg was also the host/narrator of Discovery Network's hit show "Truth or Scare" which garnered her a 2004 Daytime Emmy Award nomination.

Named by Teen People Magazine as one of the "20 Teens Who Will Change the World," Trachtenberg has been an active spokesperson for R.A.D.D., DARE America, The Starlight Children's Foundation, as well as many other charities. Her contributions to the fight against drugs earned her the prestigious responsibility of representing the youth of America at CNN's headquarters in Atlanta, where she helped President Clinton launch "The Coalition for a Drug Free America" campaign.

In addition to her TV and film career, Trachtenberg is also a fashion designer. She recently designed a bag with Monica Botkier called the Michelle Satchel. Half of the proceeds from sales of the bag go to OXFAM. She has also designed a jewelry line with Coach Poppy that was released in February 2010.
