Nat Faxon stars in "Ben & Kate" on FOX as Ben. He also provides the voice of Jeremy in FOX's animated series "Allen Gregory." On the big screen, Faxon will next be seen in Jay Chandrasekhar's comedy "The Baby Makers."

In 2012 Faxon won an Academy Award for Best Writing – Adapted Screenplay, along with Alexander Payne and Jim Rash, for Fox Searchlight's "The Descendents," starring George Clooney.

New York with a degree in Theater, he made his way to Los Angeles to pursue acting.

Faxon has appeared in numerous feature films including "Freeloaders," starring Olivian Munn, "Zookeeper," starring Kevin James, and Columbia Pictures' "Walk Hard: the Dewey Cox Story," starring John C. Reilly and produced by Judd Apatow. Faxon co-starred in the feature film "Lower Learning" alongside Eva Longoria, Jason Biggs, Rob Corddry and Will Sasso. He has also appeared in such films as "Beerfest," "The TV Set," "Orange County," "Club Dread" and "Slackers."

Faxon has also made his mark in the world of television. In 2009, he shot the CBS pilot "Big D." He was a series regular on FOX's sitcom "Happy Hour" as well as the WB's "Grosse Pointe," and he appeared in the WB pilot "In My Opinion." He starred opposite Katherine Heigl and Alexandra Breckenridge in ABC's "Romy and Michelle's: Behind the Velvet Rope." Faxon's other television credits include "Up All Night," "Are You There, Chelsea?," "Happy Endings," "Mad Men," "Party Down," "NCIS," "Reba," "The West Wing," "A Minute with Stan Hooper," "Significant Others," and recurring roles on "Joey" and "Reno 911." He also voices characters for FOX's animated series "The Cleveland Show."

Faxon is also a member of the Groundlings Theater, where he has written and performed for over six years.
