Nathan Fillion was recently a series regular on ABC's "Desperate Housewives," playing Dr. Adam Mayfair, the new neighbor on Wisteria Lane and much younger husband of Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany). A native of Edmonton, Alberta, Nathan Fillion wanted to be a high school teacher and studied at the University of Alberta.
