English actor and writer Neil Jackson got his start in Theatre in London, where he starred in numerous plays in London's West End. His first lead, Jean in Strindberg's "Miss Julie," earned him critical praise. In addition, Jackson appeared in several renowned British television series including "Heartbeat," "Ultimate Force," "Silent Witness," "Red Cap" and "Dream Team."

And in summer 2009 he completed work on Woody Allen's "You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger," set for release 2010, all of this earning him the much deserved title of "One to Watch."
In addition to his success in acting, Jackson's writing is also gaining notoriety. In 2007 he wrote the Moroccan thriller "The Passage," which he also starred in alongside Stephen Dorff. "The Passage" premiered at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival. In 2009 production completed on another feature written by Jackson: "Star Crossed," a modernization of Romeo and Juliet set in the World of Portuguese soccer, which is due for release in 2010.
Jackson currently resides in Los Angeles.

Jackson met with Stone and was cast on the spot to play Perdiccas, Alexander's infantry general alongside Colin Farrel, Val Kilmer and Angelina Jolie.
