"Newsreaders" (TV show) on Adult Swim is an absurd take on the television news magazine format, a show that goes behind the stories nobody else thinks are stories — because they're not. This newsmagazine has more gratuitous nudity than any other newsmagazine (except for Newsjuggs).

Alan Tudy joins the series in Season 2 as the host, replacing Mather Zickel who starred as host Louis La Fonda in the first season. The premiere season also featured guest stars Katie Aselton, Ed Begley Jr., Lizzy Caplan, Garret Dillahunt, Dave Foley, Rachel Harris, Dennis Hayesbert, Tom Lennon, Joey McIntyre, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Dan Rather, Brandon Routh and Jane Seymour.

Created by "Childrens Hospital" executive producers Rob Corddry ("Hot Tub Time Machine," "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart"), Jonathan Stern ("The Ten," "NTSF:SD:SUV"::) and David Wain ("Role Models," "Wet Hot American Summer"), with Emmy Award-winning producer Jim Margolis ("The Daily Show with Jon Stewart") serving as show-runner, "Newsreaders" explores the vital issues that actually don't affect us every day, from hard-hitting investigations to harder-hitting heartwarming profiles. The series is produced by Abominable Pictures and Warner Bros. Television Group's Studio 2.0.
