Orlando Jones stars in "How to Live with Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life" on ABC as Gregg.
A South Carolina native, Orlando Jones is a popular actor and one of the industry's busiest talents. He made his feature debut in Barry Levinson's drama "Liberty Heights." He was also seen opposite Laurence Fishburne in "Biker Boyz." One of his most popular roles was as the stern and disciplined band director at a Southern university who pushes a cocky, young street drummer (Nick Cannon) from Harlem
to realize his dreams. A huge hit, "Drumline" pushed both Jones and Cannon into the next level of stardom.
Other film credits include "The Time Machine," opposite Guy Pearce, and "Primeval" for director Michael Katleman, "The Replacements," "Bedazzled," "Say It Isn't So," "Evolution," "Double Take," and the cult classic "Office Space."
In 2006, Jones received glowing reviews and an Ovation Award Nomination for his sterling performance as Gabriel in August Wilson's play "Fences," opposite Laurence Fishburne and Angela Bassett. "Fences" ran at the Pasadena Playhouse in California, and Jones' role (as the main character's delusional, war-wounded brother) demonstrated an intense command of his craft.
Jones got his start in the business as a writer, but soon moved to the other side as a member of the ensemble of the FOX sketch comedy series "Mad TV." His other TV credits include a starring role as Detective Cayman Bishop on ABC's drama "The Evidence" and guest-starring roles on "Rules of Engagement," "Everybody Hates Chris," "Men in Trees," "Girlfriends," "The Bernie Mac Show," and many more. He also recently starred in ABC's 2011 pilot for "Identity."
