Phillip Lomax from "The X Factor" is one of the top 17 contestants in the FOX reality singing competition series. He is a 22-year-old part-time waiter who considers himself to be a bit of a hipster and wears the hat to go with it.
Phillip Lomax ("X Factor") sang "Fly Me to the Moon" for his audition in his hometown of Seattle, Washington. All four judges voted yes and put Phillip Lomax through to boot camp. He made it through the week and is competing in the boys category under the mentorship
After surviving the week at the judges homes and making through to the live performances, he said, "The X Factor experience has been incredible. The thing that has resonated the most with me is that it is important to find my own voice and to be true within my music. I don't want to be anyone but me."
